PEET 2026

The 2nd International Conference on Power Engineering and Electrical Technology (PEET 2026) took place successfully on October 28–30, 2026, at the Osaka Ibaraki Campus of Ritsumeikan University, Japan. The conference brought together participants from 21 countries and regions to to discuss recent advances, exchange innovative ideas, and address emerging challenges in power engineering and electrical technology.

The conference was chaired by Prof. Meng Lin of Ritsumeikan University and featured three distinguished keynote speakers, who shared their latest research insights and perspectives. Prof. Michael Negnevitsky, IEEE Fellow from the University of Tasmania, delivered a keynote address entitled “Enhancing Power System Resilience for a Climate-Safe Future.” Prof. Mingcong Deng, IEEE Fellow from the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, presented “Robust Nonlinear Control Using Operator-Based Learning and Its Application.” Prof. Adam Waldemar Skorek, IEEE Fellow from the University of Quebec at Trois-Rivières (UQTR), delivered an insightful presentation entitled “AI in Electro-Thermal Engineering for Space-Based Solar Power Plants.” Beyond the keynote presentations, the conference organized six onsite oral presentation sessions, two poster sessions, and one online oral session. These sessions provided a valuable platform for researchers and participants to exchange ideas, present recent advances, and engage in in-depth academic discussions on a wide range of topics.
